Meta launches $35 billion stock offering to fund AI expansion
The raise pays for Meta's own data centres and products. It does not change the API prices, model access or rentable compute a small team actually buys, and those prices are set by the OpenAI-Anthropic price war and open-weight models. For builders the useful signal is narrower: even the biggest platforms now treat capital, not ideas, as the constraint on AI capacity, which matches the neocloud credit stress already on the record.
